So I noticed two TN contributors posted the same thing within minutes of each other.

One of them posted a subject and a link to a news story supporting the subject.

The other posted useless garbage.

Congrats on producing useless garbage, other guy.

The press secretary needs to be replaced often as their BS filter gets full.

In the last few press conferences Carney was notably flustered.  In the initial conference on the VA, when delivering his statement that the president was just learning about the scandal from news reports, he was obviously uncomfortable regurgitating that.

Today on CNN after the announcement of Shenseki's resignation, Wolf Blitzer made the comment that CNN had been reporting on the VA wait times for nearly a year, and for the administration to claim they had no knowledge indicated at least some level of incompetence.

His book will be quite interesting I'm sure.
What an amazing feeling of relief he must have right now.

I was just commenting to my dad earlier that I was not surprised by this. I comment that Carney had the posture not just yesterday but for a while at briefings that he was thinking, "You really want me to tell them this and then get ripped by the reporters with follow ups that I can't answer?"

Yeah, that's one of those jobs I would not want.

They are no different than the PR spokespersons for corporates and celebrities. They are paid to say stuff that their employers think will get people off their backs but seldom does. In politics they are simply baby sitters telling the press that "its going to be alright, mommy and daddy will be home soon..."

At least they are paid for their double talk. True believers do it for free in newspapers, radio call ins, blogs and forums.
onward...through the fog

Expect many more in the administration to leave.  It's the norm for the final years of a 2 term president.

The 'muricans will continue to spew out that "everbody's leavin'" just like the other side did at the end of W's term and Clinton's term and Reagan's term...
