What about Aberson's?

Ironically, didn't think of that one.  He is much younger than I, in his mid-20's.  Not sure if Abersons would have fit the bill.

I was thinking they had hip, mod stuff but it's been years since I've been in there.

Maybe a local news outlet representative will read this thread and make some calls.

If you don't wear your baseball caps backwards and own a man-bag, they probably aren't your style.

According to the web site, they have $115 khaki shorts, $249 button down shirts, and $189 loafers.  I'm sure that appeals to someone, just not me.  Either everyone else who would shop there makes double/triple+++ what I do or they don't have any hobbies, don't have a child at college, and don't have any savings goals.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

SXSW

They definitely gutted the old Suede/Ivy space.  Any actual confirmation of Urban Outfitters going in here?  It seems the empty Wolfgang Puck space would have better visibility and more space but maybe the owners want another restaurant there for the same reasons.  I'm surprised that space and Ciao are still vacant.

On another note regarding Brookside, I've noticed the street planters closer to 36th are well taken care of with new flowers and trees planted in the median.  But around 33rd they are overgrown with weeds or empty and it looks terrible.  Are they just waiting to do that part or do the business owners not care?  I figured the Brookside merchants assoc. handled the landscaping but maybe not.

When did Ciao assume room temperature?

I looked and found things at much lower than that, but $50-$100 an item is quite common these days.
