There's been a lot of speculation about this topic. Here's what I know:

- Yes, Harrison Ford's son, Benjamin, is opening his restaurant in the old En Fuego location.
- There is an existing FFS in LA.
- He is in partnership (and friends) with the guy who owns En Fuego and In the Raw.
- They are also opening an In the Raw in a Las Vegas casino.
- FFS is not ready to open yet. The remodel is going slowly.
- Ben Ford is buying a condo here, but this will not be his primary residence.
- Ben Ford is the head chef, but he has more than one joint to maintain so he will not be THE chef.
- En Fuego was the "dog" of the group and did not do well, so the location was an easy choice for FFS. Why En Fuego made you pay for salsa is a business choice I still don't understand.
- Yes, Harrison Ford & Calista Flockhart will probably be at the grand-opening.

I know this is a VERY old thread. I was watching Iron Chef America and Ben Ford was a contestant and the show mentioned this restaurant. Is this place still around?

Thanks for being gentle in responding to my apparently idiotic question. I haven't been to Brookside to eat in years (and it really shows).

Townsend

There are others.  Tulsa was one of three attempted.

DTowner

I believe the two in LA are still open and are successful.
