Very nice work Q... Don't see the sale of these being a problem..

Might look at doing "Mayfest" this year to get your name out there..

Snuck into Holy Family Cathedral during lunch yesterday and got some pics of the High Altar. Thought I would share different variations on a theme.  Same basic image, but manipulated to create different feels and looks in photoshop.

the columns pictures turned out very nice.  The shadows, the reflected light and all.
It's hard being a Diamond in a rhinestone world.

Here are a few of mine.

Nice, like the angle you got of Philbrook.  And the night time lighting downtown is a good catch too. Its hard to do night scenes and capture what you see.

The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska is surprisingly similar, on a smaller scale. The stained glass windows were amazing.

TheArtist

Yes that is really neat. And those are some amazing stained glass window.  Now I have been really having a hard time getting pics of those. I either get it so that the windows themselves are perfectly visible but then the architecture around them is black.  Or I get it so that you see the architecture, but then the windows are glaringly bright.

Oh and, OMG I have to have those chairs. [:P]

I actually got a call from a lady today who is a decorator working for a church.  She says she wants to meet with me at the church to talk about doing something behind an altar.  The church is a "Church of England" and they want something done in a Gothic style remeniscent of old manuscript illuminations or mosaics. Sounds right up my alley, can't wait to go check out what they want. I just wish they would let me paint those ceilings in the Holy Family Cathedral.  It would be a dream come true.

The stained glass windows were worth yhe trip our camera club took in January. The windows were made in Germany in the 1920's and shipped over. I don't know the whole story, but it's not hard to imagine Pawhuska having some very wealthy patrons back then

Your exposure problem is one everyone fights. In my case, the windows were the story so I exposed for them.

I don't think any photo tour of Tulsa is complete unless is also includes some of Casa Viva (Casa Bonita):

or some of the smaller but just as wonderful homes:

and here are some more of Philbrook:

TheArtist

I havent been to Casa Viva yet.  Looks like the atmosphere is a bit brighter, and more colorful than the ol Casa Bonita.  I will have to go and check it out.

You're right...It's MUCH brighter inside.  I almost got lost several times because I was used to finding everything in the dark before.  It took some time to get used to, but I like it. :-)

It is so nice to see so many beautiful places in Tulsa.

http://www.tulsaselect.com  has a photo gallery. You can post the snapshots of Tulsa on its website. It makes sharing your favorite shots of Tulsa  very easy.

I think it would be great if you had some kids. I went and it was fairly quiet though. The arcades were nice and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
I really did not like the food though, which is a fairly big complaint for a restaurant.

I think those photos are amazing. I think downtown always looks good at night.
