I recently met with a carpenter who brought pics for me to see his work.  When I asked for references, he showed me 4 (FOUR) from various pastors.  He also told me about his church activities and being a pastor's son.

pancakes?  I don't care about his church life, but I do care about quality of work.  What's up with showing the Christian thing as a way to get my business?

Nearly every contractor who walked in my door touted their affiliation with some church.  The last one I hired went to church three times a week and couldn't stop talking about Asbury's goings on.  He conned us big time!!
