Michael said today that you could listen to him viva internet in Nashville but wouldn't say what station.

There's only two conservation stations in Nashville but a bunch of Liberal ones.

Here's the one I think it is:
http://www.wlac.com/main.html

And this was the only other one I could find:
http://www.997wtn.com/

Wait. Aren't liberals supposed to be big on conservation?

Sorry, Porkster. That was just a funny typo, that's all.

Just because he's a public figure doesn't give Delgiorno license to defame him. Also, Delgiorno kept bragging on the air that he had documents to support his allegations. When Christiansen's lawyers asked him to pony up the papers, Delgiorno didn't do it.

If you're reckless in your fact-gathering and reporting, as Delgiorno apparently was, that makes you much more liable.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe the crux of Christiansen's lawsuit revolved around spurrious accusations about his business dealings at RVS, and trying to tie them to his city council position.  Since the accusations have proven to be incorrect when investigated, MDG wound up in a heap of crap.  Big difference between criticizing a public official and slandering a private citizen/business owner.  Bill Christiansen happens to be both and MDG crossed the line into the personal side.

He got in trouble for believing crap perpetrated by his lock-step buddy (who's on top?) Chris Medlock, who for some reason seems to have a real hatred for Christiansen.

I did business with Christiansen Aviation for a few years in the 1990's and my personal opinion is and of a lot of other people who fly out of RVS will tell you Bill has a favorable stance at the airport because he is a very good and  honorable businessman who takes great care of his customers.  That will trump upstart competition like Roadhouse Aviation every time.

You are correct, Conan.

I also forgot this: Delgiorno also needs that extra money in Nashville so that he can pay off the mortgager that he stiffed.

inteller

yeah, what was up with that. MaDog just moved to broken arrow i thought, now he is moving to Nashville?  He must have some pretty deep pockets.

marc

I liked him and Rick way back in the KRMG days, but am very glad to see him gone from his morning show. I am sure his audience numbers have dropped since the World published the gambling story.

Its already on their website.

He may make it there. He is in the time slot where everyone is at work and not listening!![}:)][}:)][}:)]

Nashville is not that much bigger of a market and 9-12 is a big downgrade on time slot. I'm not seeing this as a step up so much as a soft landing. Could be he really was fired but was able to negotiate the timing so he could find a quick fall back job. KFAQ might well have let him stay a week or two extra and let him announce he was resigning so they wouldn't have to pay out his contract.

Wouldn't be beyond him to stretch the truth, now would it? [:P]

I am so sick of this topic but not sick enough to chuckle at his self-congratulatory 'witness' about what 'God' has done for him: 'If I did not have the Holy Spirit I would go beat those two people to death.'  Heh heh.

Timmy, for someone who hates MDG so much, I think you're the only one around here who actually listened to him...

BASleuth

Heard Chris Medlock is replacing him. Anyone know if that is accurate?
