I need some place where I can order whole pies of the following kind and they'll be good (not wal-mart)

-Apple
-Pecan
-Cherry

I looked at Impressions but I don't think they carry any of those.

Did you try Anne's Bakery, Merritt's?

My office mate buys whole pies at the Village Inn at 31st & Memorial. They're pretty good.

Marie Cavenders -- Tippins still around? There are also some smaller caterers who will make a pie in your pie plate so it looks like you actually made it.

Cavenders is Western Wear.
Tippins is closed.

I'm trying to avoid national chains since likely you're just getting frozen or partially premade pies.

Try Merritts.  There's one at 15th & Harvard and another (I think) at 71st & Garnett.

Didn't Bama get out of the pie business alltogether?

I think about all they do now is biscuits and frid pies for McDonalds and pizza crust for Pizza Hut.

I miss their little pecan pies. [:(]

Now that you've found a place to buy pies, when do we come for dinner?

Breadburner

Brownies Hamburger Stand on Harvard has excellent homemade pies.....

Anne's bakery is still closed due to the fire a few months ago.
