This is on 81st between Riverside and Lewis, just south of the super Wal-Mart. Just came down. Anyone know what's going in there?

Hopefully it won't be semi parking anymore.

That is a prime spot to build.

Quik Trip's policy is, they don't sell their properties, and they won't rent to anyone who will put in a convenience store.

They are offering these Tulsa properties for lease or sale.  I've not found anything on the one in question.

The Creeks will annex it for another smoke shop. [B)][xx(]

Since it's no longer on the list, I would guess it has been sold. Sure is a good location, I hope something nice goes in there, and it's not another Walgreen's.

Can't be a Walgreens.  They are pretty thorough in prohibiting use of their lands

Buyer acknowledges and agrees that the Special Warranty Deed conveying the Property to the Buyer shall contain a restriction which shall run with the land prohibiting the use of the Property as a place of adult entertainment, car wash, fast food restaurant, retail grocery store, retail convenience grocery store, or for the sale of items commonly sold in a convenience store, including, but not limited to, candy, chips, snacks, coffee, soda and other carbonated beverages, or for the sale of tobacco products, beer, wine, liquor, spirits, adult materials or drug paraphernalia, or for the retail sale of motor fuels.

No food, gas, or porn!

Well now wait, adult materials and drug paraphernilia (except blunts) wouldn't compete with QT, so what's the deal on that? [}:)]

Sorry for my reticence about the casinos and smoke shops, that's about the worst form of dreck on the Tulsa landscape.

Cabella's

Every city has a Cabella's rumor.

Just like every city has a Cry Baby Bridge, and the equivalent of Sparkys.  Wonder where he lives now since the Creek Tpk cut through his house?

Today's Walgreens stores are simply crass corporate growth. For those with a fondness for good, classic arcitecture and visual appeal, the old, 1930s Walgreens are the ones to treasure, such as the one on the corner of Canal and Baronne in New Orleans. Classic art deco!
