Double A

When: Tuesday, July 3, 2007, 6:45 PM
Where: Hardesty Library---93rd and S Memorial
Topic: The North American Union plans

The latest 31 min. DVD "The North American Union" will be shown and OK-SAFE Oklahomans for Sovereignty and Free Enterprise will have representation and discussions on how to become a part of the solution to this betrayal. Have you noticed that both major parties are turning a deaf ear to our concerns about the NAU as well as its prerequisite – legalizing illegal aliens?

The "NORTH AMERICAN UNION" is a grand vision to dissolve the borders between Mexico, Canada, and the United States, and merge the three nations into a single political, economic, cultural region.
Another step toward a designed NEW WORLD ORDER.

What?  Capitalism got you down?  You don't like the idea of suppressing wages for corporate profit?  Are you opposed to Mexicans?  What's up?

RecycleMichael

If you merge the three countries, we could travel to them without a passport.
Power is nothing till you use it.

I always wanted to find out who had the better Mexican Food.  Mexico, or Tulsa.

Borders are so "last millenium" thinking.
Power is nothing till you use it.

I blame the ghost of Santa Ana.  Doesn't matter what's wrong, that specter is always in the middle of it.

If we could only channel Davy Crockett.  Or better yet, Sam Houston.  I'll work on it.

Guess the "Get US out of the UN!!!" John Birch Society nuts are at it again.

Yeah, all those "illegals" who are "invading" this country trying to provide for their families sure are driving up unemployment, aren't they?!?

Of course they are.  But, the North American Union, NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO and every other free trade agreement and organization, is the sum of "Economic Liberalism."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_liberalism

Republicans, and to a lesser extent Democrats, both come from this same line of Economics.  Our country is run by an oligarchy of "Economic Liberals."  Until there's a lot more Protectionism floating around, it isn't going to change.

If I was one of them, I'd be protesting too.  This gov't opens the borders, opens up free trade, asks migrant workers to come here, then it's politicians revert to outright racism as a wedge issue.  No one wants to fix the borders, fix the free trade agreements, fix our immigration policy.  Everyone wants to pander to bigotry, it's the only reason that video you posted exists at all.

There are ways to handle this, we're too stupid to figure it out.

The times they are a changin. But no matter how much things change, they always remain the same.  It has ever been that where there are people with no work, they migrate to where there is work.  Used to be people couldnt imagine a world without slavery. A little "forced migration" for ya.

You know, I Remember back when I was a kid and watching the people in Detroit and other car making areas grumble and do battle with the Japanese.  There were people who had worked all their lives, sometimes for generations, for the car industry. I knew dang well which way the winds of the world were blowing, even as a kid, way back then.  But yet, 10 15, 20 years later you see people who have lost their job in the auto industry and have this look of amazement, suprise and sometimes anger, at having lost their job!  Hello? Anybody home?  These people surely watched the news, didnt they?  Surely they should have known that they should have been going to school and learning a new vocation. Yet they wait till they lose their job THEN start going back to school.  Same thing with the American television industry. Everyone could see what was happening, as each television manufacturer closed its doors, it was never a sudden thing, yet many people seemed to not have a clue as to what was going on in the world. When Time and Newsweek magazine and the TV news predict your industry will basically be non existent in 15 or 20 years and then 20 years later I see you on the news whining that you dont have a job and cant do anything else but what you have been doing all your life. I am not going to feel sorry for you. You should have been going to school.

One other thing. How many of us have heard that in this world you should always be learning something new, or be going to school? We all have. Yet it seems that some people don't believe it.

Even if trade policies are wrong, you can still see whats going on in the world and prepare. You cant count on changing the world, but you can count on changing yourself. And you can count on the world changing lol.

As an artist I know I can no longer paint "old world style paintings" and make a living at it. The chinese can paint them for far less.  But I found a niche painting on the walls and ceilings of peoples homes. The other thing I can do is buy those paintings from china then double, triple, quadruple the prices and sell them here. I dont have to do any work and I make a killing.

You look at the way the world is going and you adapt, and if your creative can even take advantage of it.

What are we building a lot of in this state right now? Casinos. Guess who I have made extra effort to be friendly to. My clients who have connections in the casino industry. Who did I make extra sure I did good work for? The first small casino jobs I did.  I just got a huuge casino mural job that when I am done I will be able to pay off my home and my car and employ several other people at good wages to boot.

Any businessman knows that he is competing with the world. That as soon as he finds a creative idea it wont be long before someone else is doing it. As soon as you find your great idea, your immediately looking for the next one or improving the other guys idea. Its the same thing with countries as well. They are coming for you and how you make your money and you should know it. Its ever been so from the purple dye industry, silk industry, cotton, rubber, china, guns, cars, tvs, oranges, olives, etc.

Its always been "one world". The historical fluke was when we thought it wasn't and that we could control it.
