Hint to jam bands -- it would help if your eight-minute songs would actually have *intensity.*

Have you ever seen Phish live?

In fact, have any of you doubters seen Phish live?

while in school in kansas city in the summer of either 98 or 99... i wasnt stoned and completely unimpressed...

I saw Phish live about 12 years ago in Dallas. It was a good show.

I went to about twenty Grateful Dead shows and saw many similarities between the crowds, but the Dead was way, way better.

Why did you think the Grateful Dead was a better live show and what years did you see the Dead?

Maybe you should have not been on drugs then.

I saw my first show in summer of 1974 at the Boston Garden and my last show in 1995 at the football stadium in Las Vegas.

I went to all my shows in the 1970s while in college, but was in Vegas fifteen years later and just decided to go. It was in May and Jerry died in August.

My favorite show was in Tulsa at the fairgrounds Pavilion in 1979. They opened with my then favorite "Jack Straw". That night they played a jam version of the Buddy Holly song "Not Fade Away" that I hope I will never forget.

Phish is moot..   They aren't together anymore.

And besides, everyone loves Celine Dion.

Nice! Did you see much of the legendary Spring '77 shows? How many shows did you end up seeing? Also, I bet that '95 show was hard to handle after seeing them in the 70's, but you had the Dave Matthews Band opening, huh? [}:)]

oh yes, lets tax our law enforcement to the limits by having to bust all the pot heads who will make their pilgrimage to see Phish.

Ditto.  I will change my name to Jonas if Weezer plays in T-Town.

Yes....They sucked what a bunch of droning.....

FOTD

I watched the Economic Development meeting from the 6th. What a bunch of bull. Nobody has arena projections. And the man running the show looks just like any other promoter. Then Suzi Stewie comes on saying the economic benies to the city out weigh the losses on the arena functions. Looks like the old convention center will run bigger numbers than the areema.

The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt. ~Bertrand Russell
