Power is nothing till you use it.

Their passing was good but I wasn't very impressed with their running game.

Georgia is a good team however and OSU played very well against them in the first half.

Georgia simply outplayed them.  They controlled the line on offense and their defense was able to cover their much hyped receiving corps.   I hope Georgia is that good, as opposed to OSU being bad.

The good(ish) news:  OSU did not make too many mistakes.  Good because they appeared to play well ... bad because you can not correct just not being as good.

OK, when I first seen this title I was thinking the OSU Buckeyes, not Oklahoma. I'm still in the dumps from that big Michigan upset. I cannot believe it. It felt like like a ball bat in the gut. I think Lloyd Carr has to go. He lost against the Buckeyes last year. The Wolverines need a new coach.[B)]

OSU will be fine this year, as good or maybe better than last year.  Odds of losing this game were high.  They hung around for a while.  That's good.  For playing against a tough defensive SEC team, they're numbers weren't terrible.

OSU has time to correct things before playing Tech.  They have FAU and Troy coming up, Troy being a potential giant killer.  OSU can't take the next couple of games lightly.

Haugabook leads Troy to 41-23 upset of Oklahoma State

TROY, Ala. (AP) -Omar Haugabook passed for a career-high 371 yards and a touchdown and ran for 49 yards and two scores as Troy upset Oklahoma State 41-23 in a dominating performance Friday night.

It was only the second win in 10 tries for the Trojans of the Sun Belt Conference against a Big 12 opponent. Led by Haugabook's passing and running, Troy outplayed the Cowboys throughout, gaining 562 total yards to 432 for Oklahoma State.

Pretty impressive forum that person built. Probably the best I have ever seen and I've seen a bunch of them.

It's got every gadget on it and is done where it's simple in using. Hat's off to that admin! [^]

When fans that are active enough to be on the boards say things like "its just a game" you know things are really, really bad.

Or the thread: "I wish I got paid $1mil to suck."

as a point of order... the board is not created from scratch.  Even OU has the same board (Soonersports.com).  But it is a nice one.

I know but I've always wondered what it cost to have a board like that.

Guess I'll have to continue to poorboy it over at..... http://nflncaa.proboards100.com

If you're a real college football fan, and not just a poser, you know about Troy.  And if you know anything about Troy, the result of this game wasn't a surprise.  Not by any stretch. (See my last post)

Still, the only thing good about facing Texas Tech next week is that it's at home.  And Tech's offense is very similar to Troy's, so OSU has seen it.  But I doubt they'll stop it the second time around.  OSU's defense is pretty bad right now.

I'm not sure what is going on with Reid, but if he's well, and not the starting QB, then Gundy may not be the guy.
