What is going on here? Steve has been with Matrix like "forever" and he just suddenly quits. I worked with Steve many years ago and always liked and respected him.

His buddies at the Tulsa County Commission are gone.  He was former County Commissioner Dirty Bob Dick's tight buddy.

When the Regime Change occurred last November, he lost the ability to deliver the Tax Gravy to Matrix.

Thus, his usefulness was nil.

'Bye.

That happens more than we know. Thanks.

Double A

Maybe he was responsible for drawing up the flawed plans for the cantilevered concrete beams, that built per plan, twenty feet past the exterior skin of the BOK center on the south side? Or maybe he got so disgusted with stuff like this he left?

An old carpenter once told me to measure twice and cut once. Very good advice. Be interesting to see where Steve lands. Got to have some tools to land anywhere.

20 feet?? Wow! Not surprised knowing the looseness
of the organization of the team on that job.

I never knew that design/build meant designing as you build.

Yes,it can be a design/build fast track if that is what everyone agrees to do.

Our firm is starting one of those in about thirty days. We will be completing component drawings ahead of the construction. That will include secondary design and detailing. You really have to watch your P's and Q's though.
