I posted something this morning about landscaping and didn't see it on the board. What's going on?  Sometimes I respond to a thread and it does not appear when I go back to read it.  Weird stuff.

Anyway, I live in the dreaded south Tulsa region (I know, not the best part of town[:D]), and am looking for someone to bring my yard back to life.  It is a bit over run with weeds, leaves, shrubs need pruning etc.

Who do you use?  We used to do it all but am finding that my time is very limited with the things I have to do for others (my sister, my mother), so it's time to pay someone to fix the mess.  Any recommendations?

Yes!  But it didn't show up last night. I've noticed this happening before.  Why are there these problems with this forum?  Is it the system they are using?

If you or TulsaNow is ever confused, hit refresh.

It is the duct tape of the internet.

well, according to the fearmongers after tonight there won't be anyone left to do your yardwork.  I guess you'll have to trot out there and do it yourself.  hopefully you won't burst into flames when you go out and breathe that South County air.

Inteller, I really love you.  I think you need a hug.[:D]

I guess everyone does their own yardwork?  Was hoping to find a reliable person/company.

I have to admit the only person I ever hired to do landscaping work, fled in fear of HB1804 and left his confused wife and child and a lot of angry customers behind.

Our neighbour used to have a Landscaping company (he's an American) but has been in Iraq for awhile so we can't hire him.  Not all landscaping people these days are "illegal"[:D]

Well we finally got out there (three of us) and raked the darn leaves, did some weeding, hedge trimming (doesn't look as great as the professionals), and tooks us a bit over 5 hours.  We're not finished though[:(]  It isn't a big yard, but those darn leaves seem endless and they're mainly from neighbour's trees[:(!]

The money we saved will be enjoyed at a steak house in Dallas.  Sorry Tulsa, I still think those Texans make great steaks.

Get a leaf vac. Turns ten bags worth of leaves on the ground into one bag worth of mulch. Plus, for the testosterone minded, it looks like a shoulder slung bazooka.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to carry it![:D]  Might make a great Christmas pressie.
