I just returned from a long weekend in the big city...and the water,iced tea, soft drinks, etc was [xx(].  Their water is NASTY! And the funk is everywhere...not even the potency of a Jack n' Coke could disguise that wrongness of that water.

When I got home I took a big swig out of the tap just because.  Because I am weird like that!
When we drove past the shopping center @ 101/Delaware (from the Creek)  my 3 year old clapped and said he was home. Funny that that triggered him.  []

the cities that are the north texas municipal water district (does not include dallas) get their water mostly from lakes.

I lived in mesquite and there was a FAQ about the water on their website.

Dallas does have horrible water!  We buy bottled water when we go there now.  I made the mistake to use tap water for my tea and thought the tea bags were old!!  Awful.

Love shopping there though, especially the outlet malls, and steaks are awesome as well as those huge baked potatoes.
