The Great Decisions foreign policy discussion series invites you to discuss how remote global challenges increasingly are becoming domestic challenges affecting our lives.
A kickoff is planned for Sunday, Jan. 27th, 2:30- 4 p.m., in the Central Library's Aaronson Auditorium, Fourth Street and Denver Avenue. Dr. Zach Messitte is the keynote speaker for the kickoff and will discuss "The 2008 United States Presidential Election and the Next Chapter in American Foreign Policy." Messitte is the vice provost for International Programs at the University of Oklahoma, William J. Crowe chair in geopolitics and associate professor in the School of International and Area Studies.
You can sign up for a discussion group or purchase an optional $14 briefing booklet at the program. Discussion groups are forming all over Tulsa.
Great Decisions is sponsored nationally by the Foreign Policy Association and locally by the Friends of the Tulsa City- County Libraries. For more information on Great Decisions, call 596-7962
