Did anyone notice that over 20,000 people voted for John Edwards?  Are Oklahoman's stupid or do we just not watch the news that much?

Hometown

I've been waiting for Ms. Clinton to make a great speech and boy she delivered last night.  They broke out their best speech writer for that one.

It's obvious the press is still mad at Bill because of his devastating criticism from two weeks ago.  But they will get in line.  The press like the courts are followers.  So she pulled off her victory without help from the press.

As attractive as I find Barack I have to ask what is so hopeful about him?  Where is the change he is talking about?  I mean the policies that translate into hope and change.  He is a chip off the old block playing like he is something new and different.  Hang in their Barack and let us watch you, get a sense of who you really are, over the coming years.

As for all the young folks that have joined up, well welcome aboard kids.  Get ready for a long and bumpy ride with lots of ups and downs.  If you hang in there another 40 years you'll have the perspective I have now.  Beautiful losers can't help anyone.  Winning is everything in U.S. politics.

If Obama winning more delegates by popular vote and more states than Hillary is a victory for her....I'd like to see what an Obama victory is.  I will admit there was no clear winner last night but it is a fact that Obama won more delegates and more states than Hillary.

States Won on Super Tuesday
Hillary - 8
Barack - 13

Delegates by popular vote to date
Hillary - 689
Barack - 697

Hometown

CBSNews is reporting the following delegate count:

Clinton 974
Obama 906

What would an Obama victory look like?  Probably, defeat in the general election and another 4 years of Republican rule.

Obama is one big surprise package.  I want to say to Obama (please forgive my historic reference but), "where's the beef."

And it's all well and good for Democrats to split hairs over which is the perfect candidate but we have to look ahead to November and choose a winner to take us to the White House.  The Clinton team has done what no other Democrat has done for decades.  Two terms.

Now, having said that, I am a loyal Democrat and will support our party's candidate but I'm still mad at Kerry for not being prepared for the Swift Boat thing (did you catch the reference to not being swift boated in Clinton's speech).  I hate Ralph Nadir for putting Baby Bush in the White House.  I am eternally unhappy with Al Gore for bowing out and handing Bush his first win.

Too many innocent lives hang in the balance to play around.

Hillary's problem is that she's too polarizing.  If she gets the dem nod then McCain has a good chance to win.  Why?  Republicans hate Hillary so much they'll come out in droves.  If Obama gets the nod.  McCain doesn't have a chance.  He'll even lose some votes to Obama.  btw, I was referencing delegates won by popular vote in my post.  You're posting total delegates won, including super delegates.

Total delegates won by popular vote as of now.  (source AP/Huffingtonpost.com)

You are blinded by Hillary lust.

The speech was not very good at all.  The opening was extremely weak.  She was obviously and at times awkwardly reading the speech verbatim.  She had a really poorly placed pause to recognize the storm victims in the middle (rah yay cheer, lets remember the dead people, pause pause cheer!).  She then rambled about states that had not even started to count yet and claimed resounding victories in states she was predicted to win by more than she did.  There was little to no substance and the closing was fumbling and non-succinct.

Even though I have nothing nice to say about her as a person nor on a political level, I'd give credit for a good speech.  That... was NOT a good speech.  Either her other speeches were far worse, your just cheerleading, or you like her so much you are not able to judge credibly.

[:D]

Half of Oklahomans probably think Obama is a Muslim terrorist.

Sad. He is the best candidate out there, and he'll get my vote come November... if he's on the ballot.

Keep in mind that Obama did not campaign here--no mailers, phone calls, and only a few commercials (most of them national).

I got an Obama mailer.
Power is nothing till you use it.

FOTD

Hometowns not a risk taker but wants mediocrity and that after years of experience at voting. Do you live in a state of fear?

Trusting Billary means being subjected to 4 more years of infighting and divisiveness. Please get it before the country ends up "getting it".

Hawkins, we are in a state of hicks and pricks.

I didn't get one, and his campaign has all my info. Maybe they were saving paper to go after lost Edwards voters.
Vote for the two party system!
-one one Friday and one on Saturday.

I don't know why I got an Obama mailer and you didn't...

Maybe it is because I am a high probable voter...I vote in every election...

Maybe it is because I am a democrat precinct official...

Maybe because he really knows that I am such an influential poster...

Maybe it is because I am so good-looking...

I got three mailers from Clinton, and a robocall, but nothing from Obama.  I was told by someone on his campaign that he didn't intend to do any mailing in Tulsa.  Maybe she was wrong, or maybe you are just extra special, RM (we already knew that, though).

I got three mailers from Clinton and two robocalls, one from her and one from her out-of-work husband.

I personally cannot see myself voting as an american for anyone with the Middle name"HUSSIEN"..something just rubs me wrong about it.
