Can anyone recommend a good local arborist to trim a large tree that was damaged in the ice storm?  I've had a number of non-local companies come by but I'd like to get a local company to trim it.  TIA!

I still have that guy in the old beat-up saturn with the cardboard "Tree Sirvice" sign on the side driving around my neighborhood.

I'll see if I can flag him down for you!

You could call NOSACK.  His number is everywhere!

Report back to us on your experience.  I have a large ash tree with many large limbs threatening the southwest corner of my house that I need to have trimmed.  For the most part, this tree bent and groaned over the last ice storm, but held and did not cause major damage to my house, but it is just a matter of time.  I need to have it properly pruned.  An ounce of prevention...

Your best bet would be to bend over and kiss your Ash goodbye!

Sorry!  Couldn't resist.  [:D]

Kimble Davis was up in our tree this morning when I left for work.  I'll keep you guys posted but so far, he (and his wife) have been nothing but professional and very nice.

The job is done and he did a great job!  I definitely would recommend him for your big Ash!
