Finale's building downtown

Lots of work being down to this building, across the street and one block west of McNellie's.  What is going in there?

Great question. Someone told me apartments, but you would think with all the hub bub about downtown living, we would have been inundated with stories about it by now if it was going to be apartments.  

Nevertheless, whatever it is, the progress is VERY slow.

That's actually the old Jacobs Hotel, soon-to-be First Street Lofts... So, we actually have heard a lot about it.  http://www.firststlofts.com/

Yeah it is "the only v2025 housing project under major construction"

They bashed about 3 stories worth of bricks out for something on the west side, guess someone is going to get a pretty window? At first it just looked like they fell..

Yay, glad to see this project moving along again. Hopefully he will be able to start on the other one next year as well. A few more things and that area will start to fill in and feel a bit more lively.
